1. Before purchasing a ticket, visitors acknowledge and agree that they have read these terms and conditions, and the terms found following the links referred to below, which lead to the Acropolis Museum’s (hereinafter referred to as “the Museum”) website.

2. By purchasing an electronic ticket to the Acropolis Museum the visitor accepts these terms and conditions, as well as the terms that appear by following the links referred to below, which lead to the Museum’s website.

3. Tickets available for sale via the Acropolis Museum e-ticketing service ( https://etickets.theacropolismuseum.gr/?culture=en ) are strictly individual with a fixed date and time of visit.

4. Reduced admission and free entry tickets to Museum exhibitions are available exclusively from the Museum’s on-site ticket sales tellers located on the ground floor of the Museum building, following the presentation and verification of the required documentation that proves visitor eligibility for free and reduced admission, which must be valid at the time of their presentation.

5. The requirements for the conditions and categories of eligibility for free and reduced admission tickets to the permanent exhibition and temporary exhibitions of the Museum can be found at (https://www.theacropolismuseum.gr/en/plan-your-visit#eisitiria . Visitors wishing to obtain free or reduced admission entry are required to examine whether they meet the eligibility requirements before entry.

6. Where it is established that a visitor is not eligible for free or reduced entry after the checking of visitor documentation presented during entry, the visitor will accordingly be requested to pay the full amount or reduced price of the ticket.

7. The maximum number of e-tickets a visitor can buy in one transaction is ten (10) individual tickets. To organize a group visit contact the Booking Office of the Reception and Visitor Services Department of the Museum by email at [email protected].

8. Payment for electronic admission tickets is in euro using one of the following card types: Visa, Mastercard, maestro, and UnionPay and by following the instructions provided online. An order is completed by entering one’s payment details and pressing the ‘PAY’ button.

9. Before the purchase, visitors are requested to ensure that they have chosen the correct number of desired tickets and the correct date and time of the visit.

10. Once payment has been successfully made, the visitor will receive the οrder confirmation by email. Shortly after payment has been made, the visitor will receive an email confirmation of the purchase and the ticket, along with all details of the visit, in the form of a PDF file.

11. In accordance with par. ιβ) article 3 ιβ of Law 2251/1994 (A’ 191) there is no right of withdrawal or refund of the entry fee for a specific date. The Museum does not replace tickets that have been lost, stolen, destroyed or for any reason not in the possession of the visitor.

12. The time of the visit booking corresponds to the time of entry to the exhibition.

13. For faster entry to the Museum, visitors are requested to either print or have their ticket in electronic format and validate the ticket at the exhibition entry point. Tickets can be presented at the entry point on a mobile phone screen or printed on paper. Tickets should not be in any way tampered with or altered and must be presented as originally received electronically and/or printed.

14. All Acropolis Museum e-tickets are valid only for one entry to the Museum exhibition areas and once validated, cannot be reused.

15. Admission tickets for the permanent collection entitle their bearers to enter all exhibition areas and spaces that are open to the public on the day and time of the visit.

16. The Acropolis Museum reserves the right to temporarily suspend access to certain areas should this be necessary (for example for security reasons,organizational or conservation factors, weather conditions or parallel special events). Such restrictions do not entitle visitors to refunds of the entry fee.

17. Tickets sold via the Acropolis Museum e-ticketing service enable fast entry via the Museum’s priority entry lane. Upon arrival at the Museum, visitors can proceed directly to check in at the scanning machines (fixed or portable) at the exhibition entry point.

18. The Acropolis Museum's opening hours are presented on the Museum’s website https://www.theacropolismuseum.gr/en/plan-your-visit. Visitors are required to know the Museum’s hours of operation and its services before making their visit. No claims for refunds of the admission fee that result from visitors not availing themselves of this information will be accepted.

20. The applicable law regarding these Terms and Conditions is the Greek Law and any dispute arising from them lies within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Athens.

21. The Acropolis Museum reserves the right to unilaterally change or renew these terms and conditions.

22. The Museum reserves the right, according to legislation (Law Νο.3711/2008, Official Gazette A’ 224, as it applies) and the regulatory framework that governs its operation (Board decision No. 8462/2016, Official Gazette B’ 4048/2016 as it applies) to change the operating hours, the open dates of the Museum as well entry ticket price prices.
